Mooneyes of Santa Fe Springs, CA opened up the year with their first annual New Years Party at Irwindale Speedway with a bang. Much like the Christmas Parties of the past, this Pre-72 car show had drag racing, pinup contests, live music, and lots of great vendors. Many cars grabbed our attention, like a beautifully chopped ‘39 Mercury, and a very unique bare metal Studebaker by the Nuklheds car club. One of our inspirational builders; Mike Bello of Bellos Kustoms was there with his ‘36 Ford Sedan Delivery along with our previously featured Taildragger of the Month : Roger Castillo with his ‘38 Ford Coupe. Irwindale Speedway has been the home of Mooneyes parties for a number of years, but it’s not been since 2018 that they’ve had a show and it was a welcoming return. We are looking forward to the being a vendor at the Mooneyes 2022 X-Mas Party Car Show & Drag Races.
